Trips and Tours

For this month, we invite you & your family to the Hermitage Museum & Gardens. The tour can be viewed at your convenience anytime via the link below. This portal includes a self-guided virtual tour, videos, podcast episodes, art projects for all ages, and much more. We hope these provide learning opportunities, family fun, and a little bit of peace during this time! Happy New Year TOSA Members, We made it to 2021, and I hope this year allows for more opportunities to make lasting friendships and memories! Whether it is virtual or in-person, it is always a pleasure getting to know each of you and I sincerely thank you for your patience and support as we navigate these difficult times. The Virtual Stroll of Homes video is still available for viewing on the TOSA website. I would like to thank our VP of Operations, Chelsey Ashinhurst, for coordinating the filming of the historic homes onboard Naval Station Norfolk. Last month we also virtually hosted The Crafts & Conversations painting event. I was surprised to see that we have so many talented artists in the group! I look forward to another crafting event in the near future. This month's social event is a virtual Throwback Trivia Night where we'll be testing your knowledge of the decades. Be sure to check out the VP of Operations section for all the details! Our Social Group Chairs are also working on some creative ways that we can gather safely. If you have an idea for an event or would like to be added to the mailing list, please email the Chair of that group. Finally, I would like to thank Tawana Wynn, Hillarie Diaz, and Adara Pittman for accepting positions on the TOSA Executive Board. We greatly appreciate your support of our organization! We are kicking off the New Year with 'Trivia Through the Decades'. Join us virtually on January 22nd at 7pm so we can test your knowledge. Do you love chocolate? Remember to join the TOSA Member Only FB page to get all the latest information on events. We did cleaning on the FB page, so if joined/renewed after Dec. 1 you were removed from the page. If you did not sign the liability waiver and/or the photo release part, please send an email to membership@tidewaterosa.org. Vice President of Information Dani Adams Our membership portal is LIVE on our website! Simply click "register" at the top right of the page on the desktop site, or at the bottom of the navigational menu on your smartphone device. Follow the prompts on the page, and after you submit your login credentials your account will be verified. Once your account is ready, you will receive a confirmation email confirming that your account is availiable. We will be sharing all of our upcoming events in the portal, as well as other TOSA insider information. The Tidewater Collection The Tidewater Collection boutique will re-open at Ely Hall on Tuesday, January 19th at 10:00am. For the health and safety of our customers and staff, we will not be moving to the C-9 building at this time. The Tidewater Collection Too at NMCP will remain closed. We support local military groups and organizations, that in turn support military service members, families, and veterans.
